Our shadow has always been with us … The Far Shadow is a way of reviewing what we are. There isalso the fact that half of the LE GUN crew can’t make it to this show but their shadow can. Is our work a shadow of ourselves? The Far Shadow, drawings, thoughts, far from where they were made… With you till you die.
The Far Shadow inkluderar verk av Bill Bragg, Chris Bianchi,
clubs i bland annat London, Paris, Berlin, Bryssel, Stockholm, Beijing
and Tokyo.

In English
Galleri Rostrum proudly presents the legendary LE GUN, showing in Malmö for the first time. Established in 2004, art collective LE GUN create idiosyncratic imagery, which blends a punk, occult, pop and surrealist aesthetic. As well as being the producers of their cult
self-titled magazine, the group is internationally recognised for their enigmatic installations and art shows. Besides working independently as artists and illustrators they also come together to make colla-
borative drawings, where the individual hand is subjugated to the group imagination. They are currently showing their Temple of Perpetual Myth, at the exhibition Paths to Utopia at Somerset House in London, where they worked as Shamans using surrealist games to channel other realms. Once described as having a “dark, Anglo Saxon sense of humour”, The Far Shadow at Galleri Rostrum reflects their shared interest in dreams, narrative and the absurd.
The Far Shadow involves artworks from Bill Bragg, Chris Bianchi, Neal Fox, Robert Rubbish, Steph von Reiswitz and Emma Rendel, where three of these artists will be present at Galleri Rostrum to
meet and greet you.
LE GUN has exhibited internationally at various galleries, museums, art fairs and social clubs in places like London, Paris, Berlin, Brussels, Stockholm, Beijing and Tokyo.
